Tobacciana
The 1920's to 1930's were one of the most prolific times for tobacco related material. Although there are fewer smokers now, collecting smoking and tobacco related items, sometimes called smokabilia or tobacciana, is still popular. Tobacciana is the collecting niche that deals with everything related to smoking; advertising, cigarettes, cigars, labels, silks, humidors, tobacco jars, ashtrays, lighters, tobacco trading cards and so forth. Ash trays, lighters, and spittoons are highly collectible items in the tobacciana category, as well as vintage chewing tobacco tins and sales posters, but the current prize of tobacciana collectibles is the cigar box.
